5 Tips for naturally glowing skin

  • Drink plenty of water. If there is any tip that has proven to be of great use over the years then it definitely is drinking at least 8-10 glasses of water on a daily basis. And what more this is the cheapest tip that you could ever think of. Drinking water flushes out all the unwanted toxins from your body and keeps it hydrated throughout.
  • Use aloe vera gel daily. If you have an aloe vera plant at home you can take its gel and apply in on your face and neck, leave it on for about 15 minutes and wash off with cool water. In case you do not have an aloe vera plant then you can buy ready made aloe vera juice/gel from the nearest medical store. It works in exactly same way as the original gel. In addition to it rub an ice cube on your face. Place the ice cube in a cotton cloth and rub it over your face. This will give an instant glow on your skin.
  • Add garlic to your daily diet. Researchers have proven over the years that using garlic in daily diet expands the lifespan of skin cells thereby leaving the skin looking youthful and naturally glowing for years. its definitely worth a try!!!!!
  • Lemon juice and honey helps treating dry skin. Take 2 tbsp of lemon juice. add one tbsp of honey to it and mix it well. Apply this solution on your face and leave it on for about 20 minutes and then wash it off with cold water. Lemon acts as a natural bleach and honey nourishes your skin. Regular usage of this solution can bring about greater results in a short span of time.
  • Drinking tender coconut water daily has also proven to very helpful in attaining healthy glowing skin.
  • Drink Orange juice daily. This citrus fruit is rich in vitamin C that helps in manufacturing collagen which is very much essential in keeping the skin youthful and smooth.

The other tips include:

  • Wash your face 2-3 times a day with a good face wash. Over washing your face may result in production of excess oil that will in turn result in acne.
  • Exfoliate your skin almost 2-3 times a week. Try to use natural scrubs to remove the dead cells from your skin.
  • Avoid taking hot shower as it strips off the essential oil from the skin and leaves it less moisturised. This may also lead to dry skin.
  • Take multi-vitamin pills every day as it helps in supplying the essential nutrients to the skin.

  • Do not touch your face often as it will transfer the germs and dirt from your hands on to your face. This will also result in acne.
